Magda's Cakes in Stockton, CA. I have eaten a lot of their tres leches cakes and cookies over the years. A family member has brought these cakes to many family events over the years. Our extended family let es these cakes. Lactose intolerant me pops a pill and indulges. Albeit it's a small piece considering it's a tres leche (three milk). The cake is a sponge that has a milky sweet flavor, moist sponge but not soggy. They have different frosting flavors. I've tried the chocolate, vanilla, and a coffee tasting frosted tres leches cakes. Mmm. The cakes are a visual work of art. So darn pretty. The design varies. The cake decorating looks professional. They also sell cookies. Yum! Those little sweet apple filled empanadas are quite tasty as well. I've never stepped foot into their shop. So don't know what the neighborhood and parking situation is like.

Picked up a cake from Magda's Cakes for a family birthday and everyone liked it. The cake looked really nice and tasted fresh, not overly sweet which I appreciated. Frosting was smooth and had good flavor instead of that fake sugary taste some places have. Staff was polite and had the order ready on time. Prices seemed fair for the quality too. Only small thing, I wish there were a few more flavor choices that day, but what we got was great. I’d order from here again for sure.

I went in on a Saturday morning to pick up a few things for a family get together. The place had a nice, cozy feel and it smelled like fresh bread as soon as you walk in. I tried their blueberry muffins and a chocolate croissant. The muffin was soft and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The croissant was flaky, maybe a little messy but thats part of the fun. Staff was polite and patient even though there was a small line forming behind me. Prices seemed fair for the quality. Overall, it was a solid experience and I’d go back to try more items next time.

I been coming here off and on for 20 years since they opened. There cakes are to die for. The sandwiches are only $7.50, special is $10.50 which includes a sandwich, soda or water, chips, cookie. There simple cakes are $45.

They made a cake for my daughters birthday. It was amazing. She wanted it lemon and vanilla flavored for one of the tiers. The cake was not only adorable but tasted great. They also make some amazing cookies.
